Ableton Live 10 MIDI Capture

In this video we explain the new Midi Capture feature in Ableton Live, this allows us to capture any midi ideas that we may be jamming onto the keyboard without having the need to press record.

I don't get this:
You start jamming from 2.37, then you do transport-Stop at 2.59. The capture function then only captures the last 4 measures of your jam. Can you enlighten me plz ?

Hi, I have upgraded from Ableton Live 9 to 10.Got a few questions that I would like to ask., (might post in the forum too, but though Id ask here anyways
1)Do you have to set the loop brace before using capture?

disappointed with the following: cannot seem to capture record more than say 4 bars of midi data, in logic you can capture record from as far back as playback started, is there something I am missing as far as parameter settings? or can ableton just capture a small fragment of midi data? Sad panda

but if you just want to play around with it, but keep your projects tempo at the same bpm you wanted.. IT CHANGES IT. So infuriating, just keep the clips timing leave my project tempo hell alone
