Yes, they are delicious!! They are originally from Tijuana, Mexico.
I remember traveling around MX in the mid 90s searching for my favorite snack. I had traveled to Mexico city and they had no idea what I was talking. Glad this recipe expanded out and has become re created in many amazing ways!! Some with aguachiles estilo Sinaloa, dorilocos I've seen them do alot in MX City. loved it!!

And also can made with Doritos, is the most common here in Mexico City, Dorilocos. But with both chips is good

Hey thank you man. You were the first video I saw on Tostilocos. I love food of all different nationality and I had not seen this, great snack! Besides the recipe I like to add chopped white onion, mexican sour cream, and cotija :)

Not bad but you wanna put some Clamato, chaca chaca or tamarindo, and cueritos (not a fan) are optional.

You forgot to add some sausage, "cueritos", "rielito", mango, extra hot sauce, and here we made a chamoy called "sangre de cochi" is chamoy with little oranges
