My mom has early onset Alzheimer’s. She’s 69, and started showing signs around the age of 55. She just got diagnosed last year, when she was 68. She passed every test until then, but when I tell you her retention time is five minutes on a good day, and less than 30 seconds on a bad day — the neurologist’s test results don’t mean much at this point when we can see with our own eyes something is wrong.

He is in decline.
