'Christmas Time Is Here,' performed by the original cast

In 1965 Dave Willat, Dan Bernhard and Cary Cedarblade were members of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church youth choir, in San Rafael, California, when they recorded songs for the CBS TV special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Fifty-six years later, in this web exclusive, they once again perform Vince Guaraldi and Lee Mendelson's holiday classic, "Christmas Time Is Here," accompanied by "Sunday Morning" correspondent David Pogue.

I remember David Willet as he had a US Post Office Box where I worked for many years. I had many times to reminisce and talked to him about his part in " A Charlie Brown Christmas ". During one Christmas, the USPS put out and sold a Christmas CD that featured " Christmas Time Is Here " and filled me in some of the back story. Miss You David and have a Merry Christmas !!!!

It's just not Christmas time without it. Not for me anyway. I remember sitting on the floor not 5 inches away from our 25 inch color console TV back in the 70s watching it. My best memories of the holiday. My mom would yell at me to back up or I'd ruin my eyes. Lol.
