They are not protesting for more pay. They are protesting for better working conditions because they demand too much from them. Those that protested today were all making between $16-20 and even stated its not about the pay.

Amazon considers these employees cattles. They are a stop gap from fully automating their jobs. So, why would they invest on the employees whom they want to replace with mechines.

I work at an Amazon Fulfillment center and the only thing that sucks is the incompetent management.

I was an Amazon delivery for 3 weeks. The drive was insane! We were worked like slaves. My knees got so swollen from going in and out of the truck that doctor told me to quit! When you make Uber look good, you're doing something wrong.

Unions make life better for all workers even non-union workers and that is a fact. Amazon doesn't want unions for the same reason all corporations don't they don't want to have to negotiate with a collective because that means the workers have more power. They want to keep the employees as powerless as possible.

If you don't like the conditions, why would you apply for the position. No one is holding you against your will and forcing you to do anything. Quit. They'll find someone who is willing to do it?

Anyone who has studied business and economic history knows that Amazon will eventually pay dearly for how they treat their employees.

Amazon is just providing a job. Its up to you to better yourself, that's not Amazons job. Get educated and better your self, and stop wanting others to give you a better life.

Ill speak with any media source, I worked their for almost a year (11 months) I was excited at first. I got promoted, 2 times, and I still broke. Amazon actually broke my spirit and my thoughts on Amazon. I wore a fitbit while working there, I averaged about 54k steps per shift. They provide an AMAZING service don't get me wrong, but their workers are pushed BEYOND boundaries and they do not receive a fraction of the credit they deserve. PM me if you would like to know more. I am not afraid to speak out against Amazon.
