Then you need to remove VATS and emissions in the tune. Anything not plugged into a sensor on the engine can be cut out minding power and ground junctions.

I've done quite a few swaps pre and post OBD and having a yard that tested everything and removing whatever we needed without cutting everything made it so much easier. Bank's Auto Parts and Brandywine Auto Parts in the DC area. Looks like there's still great yards available today and this is a great short people should use.

I like your little troubleshooting setup there with remote ignition and a dedicated fuel pump. Bet that makes for quick diagnostic work and engine testing
