My fiancé and I volunteer to serve dinner to the families every 2 weeks and WestJet just happened to be filming at our RMHC and on our day to volunteer!

We didn’t know about it because it was kept secret until we arrived but nonetheless pleasantly surprised and grateful to have witnessed how much joy WestJet brought with them. It was an amazing night I won’t soon forget!

As someone whose son was born prematurely and got to experience the incredible blessing that Ronald McDonald House Charities is first-hand, I can tell you... receiving such an incredible gift during such a stressful and confusing time would've been beyond any understanding we had at that time. My name is Kalandra, my 9 year old daughter Savannah is currently staying at McMaster Children’s Hospital. My family and I have been calling RMHC home (the one you see in the commercial) for over a month. She was initially transferred to MAC to the ICU with an extremely rare disease. She is the 42nd person in the world to have it. It was life threatening and aggressive. One day we came back from the ICU (we couldn’t go to the holiday party since Savannah’s condition was so bad) and a card was sitting on the dresser. I opened it and inside were two free plane tickets to anywhere in the world, “love your friends at WestJet” I will never forget that. Knowing we had those plane tickets made me want to fight for my daughter more. So she could get out of the hospital and we could go on that flight.

Thank you Westjet, you will never know how much that meant to us.

We were flown out of our small northern Canada town to Winnipeg for an emergency cesarean. My son spent 9 days in the NICU and we were so young, staying in a hotel would have hard financially. We didn’t even know about RMH but the NICU nurses did. They told RMH about us and said my parents could stay there too! Will always give RMH any chance I get.

As a mom who spent her time in the Ronald McDonald House, thank you so much. My husband and I would have been sleeping in the car or waiting room, we wouldn't have left the hospital without our little one. The strength they gave us was amazing. <3 <3 <3

Being a reviewer I could feel the warmth of the comercial that was presented is better to give then to receive with West Jet doing something so special for the Ronald Mc Donald house that really Touched my heart to see somethijng so special such as this being done .

Wow the magic of what Christmas is all about. To sacrifice and give those who needs it the most. The only way I ever keep a gift like in this Video is because I want to give it to my Mom, my Kin or the closest of my friends that I consider to be my family and in my heart too.
