I heard it too remake

After 1 and a half months of working on this remake I finally managed to finish it all, thank you for you guys patient waiting for this remake. It might not be the best remake but i tried my best! I hope you guys enjoyed the video!

For those wondering why the monster hugged the girl is because many say that the monster was actually the girl’s mum( by the way the girl name is Sarah) but her mum was taken by a monster and then another woman took Sarah as her daughter, that’s why the monster was mad, because she was looking for her daughter and the woman didn’t let Sarah to go

I don’t normally dream, or nightmare, but when I was younger the original video of this animation terrified me so badly I had nightmares about it for a week and it’s stuck in my head as a memory still to this day.

The original is still more unsettling for me. When little 8 year old me saw that Thing crawl up the stairs it gave me a whole new view on the animation. Truly an amazing work of art..

A very solid remake, the atmosphere of the original is portrained really well.
I remember the specific animation from almost 7 years ago, because it was one of the few i considered scary at the time.

When Sarah gets pulled by the Monster you could hear the Monster tear something off of Sarah which sounded like a limb

0:28 Quite a sad detail. It can be seen that the mother, looking back, began to cry for fear of losing her daughter. And she decided to divert attention.

I don't know exactly what makes it so horryfing, I guess is the fact that sometimes looks rough and suddenly so smooth, it's like a mix between cutout and traditional animation, the extremelly detailed blood with the plain design of the characters and scenes looks very uncanny, pretty good job here, I love it.

I'm bad in English, but there's my theory: The Real mom is the monster, she's something like "mother's love" and I think that the real mother tried to apologize despite what she had done, as this usually happens in a family: after her actions, trying to impose herself on the child and make him forgive the parent.

Theory: I think that the monster was the real mom but was turned into the monster, and the real monster was the one that told Sarah “I heard it too” but disguised as the mom. [I also think that because when the “mom” was dead she made a weird sound when Sarah checked on her] and the “monster” also hugged her when she found Sarah

THAT WAS LEGIT MUCH MORE HORRIFYING THAN THE ACTUAL ANIMATION, especially with the added in sound effects, the animation does look a tiny bit weird tho (especially the mouth movements when the characters speak) but other than that this is really well made! Also the corpse jumpscare actually got me.
