probably the funniest and most on point short review of a Q7 I ever saw. drove the 2015 model and now the 2020. and its exactly how this scottish guy summarized it. if you have the 7 seater, put the kids in the 3. row. car is so long that you almost can’t hear them arguing with you

Lol! Very true although as an owner, it’s exciting enough to not have any issues and be very reliable, comfortable, and meets all our needs. We also have a 2013 A8L 4.0 twin turbo that can be a real beast when the turbos are spooled up at full throttle! In 10 years, we had to replace the vanity mirror light switch under warranty otherwise routine yearly service. Audi’s used to be fairly unreliable (I owned two in the’80’s) but our Q7 and A8L have been more reliable than the two Lexus in between. Good review. Thanks.

Good review Mark - sounds like a great car, even if I had enough kids to fill it I can't see myself ever buying a huge expensive 7 seat Audi though. I think I'd have lost any interest in life by then.

A Q7 is much more, ahem, ‘interesting’ when you buy one after it’s 5 years old and done 60000 miles +. Then it has much more in common with the Deer Hunter…

Perhaps if it wasnt just varying shades of grey it might seem a bit more interesting. Would the average driver be wearing varying shades of beige head to toe?

These things have a poor reputation for reliability. Audi were 22 out of 29 in the latest Auto Express reliability survey. Dealers are also only average at best. Avoid!
