Cuttlefish are weirdly adorable. I remember seeing part of a documentary once where they featured a cuttlefish and its colour-changing thing. My favourite was when, as an ultimate "Ha, see how you do THIS time!" test, they put it against a black-and-white checkerboard.
...the cuttlefish took a moment to think about it...

...and made a grey square.

Camoflage no...but it did get the median shade and shape right! Considering this is a background that would never occur in nature, that's pretty damn close.

I have always been FASCINATED by Cuttlefish! And humans are supposedly the most "advanced species" I think not, these animals can change the texture of their skin and even eyeballs! Incredible
