I read an article yesterday which wrote "...to integrate children...".

We know very well that when they say "to integrate" they mean " to assimilate"....

I grew up in Canada. In school, we are only taught that Aboriginals once lived in Canada, who traded fur and bison meat with European settlers.

Until my late 20s/early 30s, I didn't know what a Cultural School was, did not know the prison population is 70% Aboriginal, did not know the Aboriginal community has the highest poverty rate, highest crime rate, highest drug addiction rate, highest alcoholism rate, highest school dropout rate; in all the negative socioeconomic indicators, the Aboriginals are at the top.

The truth is, the Aboriginals face systematic discrimination in Canadian society. They are marginalized and segregated. They are rarely spoken of; in fact, much of what I learned about them was from foreign reports.

My father was a survivor of the US residential Indian schools. They were starved, beaten, raped, under-clothed in winter and forced into slave labor during the summer. My father had to work on farms with the head priest principal pocketing his earnings....

Several locations have been excavated. No human remains found. Kamloops still hasn't excavated. Ground penetrating radar found anomalies. Which turned out to be a lot of things. Pipes, old utility lines, construction debris. Etc. No remains yet. I'm not sure there will he any in Kamloops either IF they ever excavate. It was the 1st site that was scanned and started this story. And Considering the rest haven't found any I doubt kamloops will ever dig. Can't keep making the claim if it's disproven.
