Next Level Racing - E3 2019 - By The Simpit

For this years E3 Next Level Racing showed up with their own booth filled with their sim racing gear. This included many of the old favorites like the F-GT and the GT Track sim racing chassis. I tried the NLR traction loss already at the Expo just after the Stage 3/4 rebranded as Acto-Racer and SimXperience won by far. The NLR might have been not that well tuned, but it's 4k more to spend as well.

I know you were in a noisy environment, but did you get any idea of how loud the Traction Plus is in use, perhaps in relation to the V3 itself? Thanks.

The video NLR put up of the traction lose was all about how affordable it was for the average sim racer. Are these people mad, how is 6k affordable for the average sim racer. This stuff will never become mainstream until they stop putting ridiculous price tags on the stuff. I would rather but a nice new car and stay happy with my P1 cockpit, 20nm DD wheel and my aiologs shifter, no amount of traction lose is worth over 6k.

For $7, 500 USD you can get the Fasetech 4DOF Racing Cube and blow the doors off of any 'motion platform'.

I hate we where so badly represented at E3. He I was thinking sim racing is on the increase and big money is coming in. E3 tells another story, if the money was there, representation would have been there. :-( These are grim days fellow Grim days I tell ya!

Sounds like the traction loss at the base is going to have "Dyadic Actuators" Annoying chirping sounds the entire time you're on the track. No thanks, I'll pass.
