Thank you. Im a cancer surviver (tongue cancer its 2 colors now cuz they took my wrist and made a new half for me)
But i have issues eating and especially big meals so i get the smaller ones. But oofta! Expensive. I do order off the kids menu at fast food as its the perfect amount and i dont waste or pay as much plus i have grandkiddos to give all the toys to lol
I am a messy eater so often just grab take out. And i got a bargain on those precooked bacon slices so i come home and add bacon and sometimes a over easy egg(i lost too much weight and even 4 years later i get told. Eat more protein and fat sweetie i wanna see the weight go up lol)
But i love hacks like this one.
I might tell some of the regular older folks who are on tight budgets. They finally figured out that you often get free stuff off app ordering so thry will sit inside and order off the app now but when youre on a budget ya gotta do what ya gotta do

As far as the sand which is concerned- yes it’s the same- but it’s the size of the fries and drink that separate the cost. Still worth it, I do this all the time! :)

i used to make mini chicken salads using dollar menu side salad and chicken nuggets from BK. I could order that with a cheap whopper (on the app if I ordered ahead and walked across campus to pick it up) and I’d feel stuffed on altogether $7 with tax maybe. Then they stopped selling the side and main salad dishes 😢

I worked at BK (quit like last week lol) and can confirm. Whopper junior and cheeseburger are same meat, bun, cheese.

Only difference is the toppings

Junior whopper: mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, onion, ADD cheese if you want cheese

Cheeseburger: pickle, ketchup, mustard, already has cheese

We would do this when I worked at Hardee's. Plus I was taught a trick to order hamburger plain, add swiss cheese, bacon and mayo. It was like a mini Frisco and so yummy 😋
