The M2-2 flamethrower saw combat use in the Pacific theater, being deployed to combat strongly fortified and entrenched Japanese positions. While the M2-2 was fired with compressed air and gasoline or napalm we fire it with compressed nitrogen, diesel fuel and reduced pressure for safety. The range is still impressive!
