If you remove the fake engines, it will a) save some weight and aerodynamic drag and even better b) it will become tail heavy, so you can put the AIO an inch to the front.

what do you think about marks comment about removing the fake engines ? just got mine in yesterday and was wondering the same thing. just don't want to make it unflyable if the fake motors help balance it

Since you don't need more than 25mw there are cheap 4 gram FPV cams. That might help. I hope you see this quest thru. If it can FPV I plan to buy it!

I go to a small town where they're hard to find for a reasonable price, for example I saw some Cx-10s being sold for $120. What do you think would be the best drone(s) to sell? I want to buy like 10 and not spend over $250.

I'm a couple months late but u can fix that problem by adjusting the tail to give it more lift.

Has anyone thought to weigh the four dummy motors before gluing them on ? - I have this plane on order, expected around Christmas, and I'll make a point of weighing the "motors". I'll also attach the tailplane using magnets as It won't fit into my carrying case with the tail on.

Remove the fake engine pods it will fly fine with that camera. Weight saving if it serves no purpose remove it D. 😁

Ha, now come on. You've been flying long enough to know this little EPP foamy ain't going to carry the camera. I did this on my 7.4 v Sky King F949 and it does well. You run the camera off the 5 volts on the flight control board. Remember to attach the camera to a piece of wood then on to the plane. This little camera creates a lot of heat..

My friend. Most of the battery power is going to the camera.
This is why the plane is not flying.

I used a very tiny portable camera I bought from china (where else?) and it flew up ok but the battery didn't last. Also I should have angled it down more so all you see are trees and the sky. And crappy video quality LOL.. I don't think I want to try this again it sounded like wearing out the motor.
