I followed all the rules, requested my first payout and now they waited 14 days to tell me they want video evidence that its actually me trading. I have to record myself, mouse keyboard, my screen, annotate everything about my strategy live as i go through a trade. Like i basically have to become a YouTuber to get paid? This is a whole nother level of stress for me and i trade from work more than half the time. Is this normal to get a payout?? I had $2000 in profit and only requested $1200 and its my first payout!! Idk i want to believe in them but this has left a sour taste in my mouth

Edit: Update I did get paid, even after canceling the account so I may give them another try in the future... I didn't submit any videos or anything they just approved the payout on the 3rd of September and i didn't want to pay for renewal on the 1st so i canceled before then. Money hit my bank account this morning.

APEX is facing cash flow problems and has resorted to scamming its customers - simple. Second red flag: obnoxious customer service staff who don’t even know the basics of managing customers. Thirdly, there are far BETTER prop firms out there today. APEX’s ‘20 accounts’ USP is outdated now. APEX showing all the classic signs of a firm facing cash flow issues: aggressively push ‘80% discounts’ on eval accounts and actively mass deny payouts for traders. 😂

I have gotten one payout of 20k and I have a 40k pending payout. I requested the 40k payout August 15th and still haven't gotten approved or denied. I find it it ridiculous how long it takes and I refuse to trade until I get approved or denied.

My complains about Apex are:
a) They should be clear which rule you broke and WHEN you did it, so you can learn from it;
b) Many traders complain that they have NOT broken the rules (I personally know one trader - that payments denied - who is very cautious with his operations to not broke any rule);
c) They should be regular on the time they take to approve/deny payments - I had payments approved in ONE business day, but the next payment request, SEVEN days have passed (no holidays in between) without any answer (I've blown those accounts before any answer). If you have the means to approve in one day, why do you "slow cook" traders sometimes? Expecting they to do a mistake and blow their accounts? IDK...
Because of that I moved to other prop firms.

Before you pick a prop firm, figure out their PA rules. Really not worth the hassle if they make it too complicated. Trading is hard enough as it is without stressing their obstacles too.

Honestly a lot of people who are denied break the rule. My trading style I never scale in. I go either full margin or set fixed lot size. At most I double my position and only in green.

I still got banned though. I am with MFF now and aiming for a bigger payout. Let’s see if they honor it 😂.

ok besides payouts, what's with the long pending period? first payout request was approved in 24 hours, now it takes all 14 days. I've even gotten approved for payouts and listed as paid but took 2 months to get the payout. So yeah they pay, but its a process to get paid. Even technical support takes days to respond when they use to respond within minutes and hours. Something has changed..

100% lots of people are getting denied. Apex are scammers, and label their hard working traders as "scammers and schemers" for using legitimate strategies.

It's not just about DCA anymore, they're denying for pretty much any reason. I saw someone get denied for inconsistent sizing the other week, they sized up from 1 micro to 2 micros lol. Apex said that's a 100% increase, which is absurd as it's the smallest possible increase.
