Monday on “The Real” premiere, R&B songstress Monica stops by to chat it up with the ladies of “The Real” in their Season 3 premiere. Find out what she had to say about rising above the alleged drama with fellow vocal powerhouse Brandy.

And yes, her, Aaliyah and brandy were all in the same caliber and somehow managed to make their mark on the industry and had their opportunity to shine. That's god's work because the 90s were full of talented people gunning for that big BUCK. I sure hope her and brandy can squash this beef.

I think Brandy meant no harm. What I think Brandy meant was "Chile bye" to the petty poster who was trying to start some mess. She and Monica have worked together since "The Boy Is Mine" with "It All Belongs To Me" in 2012 and they have publicly maintained a friendly, healthy and professional relationship, drama free. People will always believe the negative lie before they ever believe the positive truth.
