The best thing about this is that Tiana ultimately buys the restaurant with all her hard-earned money. Even though she’s literally married to a prince, she doesn’t need any financial assistance to accomplish her life’s goal.

What I loved about the relationship between Naveen and Tiana is how they changed each other for the better. Tiana started as an uber focused workaholic who thought about nothing more than working to get her restaurant and although it’s good to be goal oriented and do what it takes to achieve your dreams you should also take the time to stop and smell the roses every once in a while and Naveen was able to get her to do that and made her see how important it is to have someone to share your success with. Naveen started off as a lazy self centered playboy prince who scoffed at Tianas hard working attitude and thought about nothing more than partying and seducing women and I mean there’s nothing wrong with having a good time but there should be some meaning and purpose in life too and Tiana made him understand how rewarding it can be to accomplish something by yourself and how one good woman is so much more valuable than a room full of pretty faces. I also love how they were both willing to make sacrifices for each other Naveen had said to Ray that he’d work more than one job to help her get her restaurant and then he was willing to kiss and marry Lottie jus so Tiana could get the money she needed and Tiana was willing to let go of the restaurant jus to be with him cuz she knew she wouldn’t be happy with only half of her dream so she at least wanted the half that became so important to her. It’s so cute how at 2:21 they both looked excited to get started on building up the restaurant her with the hammer and him with rolling up his sleeves! Tiana who couldn’t dance at the beginning is happily dancing in her dream restaurant with her dream man and Naveen who was sweating while slicing a single mushroom minced multiple vegetables for his parents with his stunning wife at his side. I love their individual character development and the relationship they built together❤️

One thing most people don't know is that Tianna and Naveem became meta humans, like Rapunzel and Elsa almost. They retained the ability to talk to animals after they turned back to human form. It's so cool to imagine them carrying on with this ability to benefit their community and maybe even their future lineage 😄

Even if Naveen and Tiana were frogs permanently at least they’d have each other and eventually tadpoles too. Plus knowing the girl’s big brain I’m sure she could build a bayou version of her dream restaurant.

I'm brown and never had an issue with white or black characters so long as they have a relatable arc with purpose beyond "representation."

I love Tiana’s ballgown. Normally I don’t like any of the Disney princess’ gowns, but Tiana looks great in green, and I like the waterlily motif. It just all works so well for her!

I remember this movie so much, I was a wee lad, just shy of 4 years old, this was the second film I remember seeing in theaters, and I loved it, and I still do now!
