Wild Hearts Lurid Soulstalker 00'37'38 Crit Wagasa + Bomb
Показать описание
This run could have been faster by breaking the lower back before targeting the head during the enrage for 100% one stroke fury uptime, and by positioning better during the burn. It's still pretty good, but it might have been a '35 or possibly '34 with those two adjustments. However, I don't have the patience to try this again (read next paragraph). And honestly, I feel like this is too much cheese. I just wanted to see what a clean run would look like using this strat, and I'm glad it's over. Real talk? I'm more proud of my 43 second run without any fusions.
As for the bomb tech, props to its creator! Very creative! I think it is amazing if used mid-fight to flinch out the kemono from jumping away or doing an annoying move. In future hunts, that is how I primarily intend to use this. I sincerely do not recommend using it the way I did (pre-roar) unless you're prepared for some next level jank. I legit spent more time in loading screens than actually playing the game. Never again will I do openings that involve multiple bombs in a row. The most significant issue is the karakuri lining up. Spring+torch with a spring either next to or in front of my horrendous creation easily killed 50 runs, if not more. Moreover, because of the weird angles that I'm not used to, there were many occasions where I went aerial because I only landed the last few hits of the counter OR after the counter I didn't immediately touch the ground. Both of these instances gave Lurid enough time to roar and ruin the whole opening.
If you have the patience and you are lucky enough for the karakuri system to work 100% of the time, you can do 0 timer runs on anything that can be burned using bombs only. Just spam bombs to flinch out of the initial roar and recover thread during burns. Better off with a different waist piece in that case, Murakumo or Amaterasu perhaps.
Anyway, apologies for the wall of text. Cheers!
