Costume Characters MADE My Disney Cruise - DIStory Dan On The Dream [FIRST CRUISE VLOG]

Had an amazing time on my first #DisneyCruise adventure, The Disney Dream, where I fell in love with the boat's character selection and story telling. I truly love how integrated the #costume characters are to the overall vibe of the boat, it really brings the entire place to life. Will be heading off on the next #cruiseship, the Wish, in just a month, to check out all the halloween looks! So stay tuned for more Cruise content!

The character interaction on the ships is unmatched. On my first disney cruise I was just sitting around the atrium and Belle (in her village outfit I believe too) just showed up and sat next to me and we had a lovely conversation before she had to go perform a story time. I still think about it all the time, it was so wholesome. That would NEVER happen in the parks.

I can't wait for The Golden Mickeys video on this channel. I used to watch this at Hong Kong Disneyland and it was fantastic. I just never knew that the Disney Cruise Lines are stilling doing that.

I’ve just booked an Australian Disney cruise! When I heard they were coming, I could’ve cried. I’ve never made it to a Disney park and the fact that I will meet characters, buy Mickey ears and hear the Disney wonders horn will actually be a dream.

Really gotta so a Disney Cruise some day. Really been getting more into the theme park creativity side thanks to Dan and Kevin (Defunctland), and for me it feels like the cruise lines are where some of the more hidden creative elements come into play and application.

Literally just booked my first Disney Cruise on the Wonder that’s coming to Australia in 2023/24. Going for 3 nights from the 20th Jan '24 with my sister in law and niece! Never considered a cruise before but I’m actually really excited for it and this video really confirms it! 😍😁

On one hand, the characters being omnipresent and having some "continuity" to them as they walk around is neat in like a guest experience sort of way.
But oh my GOD those poor cast members.

We just got back yesterday from a cruise on the Disney Dream and apparently they just changed the rules, because we were able to hug and get close to the characters, and the handlers very happily took pictures with guests' phones. 😃
