Why You Haven't Seen Charlie McDermott From The Middle Lately

There's no doubt that the ABC sitcom "The Middle" was sold on the sitcom pedigree of its two adult stars: Patricia Heaton from "Everybody Loves Raymond" and Neil Flynn from "Scrubs." But soon enough into the show's run, the three kids in the Heck family, played by Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher and Atticus Shaffer, established themselves as sitcom stars in their own right.

McDermott played eldest son Axl, and fans of the show were certainly eager to see how his career would progress after "The Middle" took its final bow in 2018. Though he has appeared in a few movies since the show's end, McDermott has also found other ways to express himself other than appearing on screen. He doesn't deserve to not get new jobs. He was really funny in "the middle" and a good actor ! I truly believed Axl Heck being lazy, not interested for his family while deep inside he loves them and would do everything for them-even if he acts like it is not like that. It has been my family's favorite show since it started. We all can relate to how tough times happen when you're not born with a silver spoon. I have four children and they were carbon copies of the cast children. We are watching the show as we speak. I wish they had another show to keep it going like the series. Excellent cast of actors.

This is a curse of a lot of these types of shows though. They run for so long that its the only character people see you as and its one role producers seen you as. It sucks because they really deserve their chances to shine in other genres

To be honest I love the middle even this actor played Axl Heck he was my favorite character plus he's cool be a little bit whiny but he was very cool he was part of the show after the show ended I thought he was pretty good doing what he's going to do now pop top movies or TV shows👈🙏
