I used to have a UB Vista - the first pram for my first child... I swapped to Xplory when he was 8mnts old. Here are the reasons: 1/ we dont drive and this pram is brilliant for public transport. With the handlebar down it takes same amount of space as golf style buggy. 2/ I am tall and have artheritis in my lover back - this is the only pram that goes high enough for me to be able to manhandle kicking and screaming 10kgs of a child in to it and safely strap it in without ending up in agony for days to come. Also my husband is almost 2m tall... 3/ You can nicely hang it on a hook in a very small hallway and you dont need to bend down to fold it. 4/ I bought a trailz chassis as well - the seat works on both. That one is a tank of a pram and can withstand any terrain - again no need to bend while folding and can be hooked in the hallway.

For me Vista was full of compromises. Too big for a public transport yet only averigely ok for terrrain, too painful to fold yet had to stay on the floor taking up space, the basinet for the baby too low down so every change nappy was painful, husband had to hunch to push it...

Xplory is a brilliant piece of kit for urban parents, who are tall, have back problems and small hallways with limited storage.
For people of averige built, who drive and dont need to fold and stove away their prams this defo doesnt make sense but I woud still advocate that the design of the xplory is way more practical than you give it credit for.

I love your honesty! Thank you for being so practical and thoughtful in your reviews. I saw this new model advertised and they were spruking all these "changes" that i really couldn't identify at all LOL. Stokkes are huuuuge in person too, in my search i was immediately shocked at just how big they are with that hood up. Being only 165cm tall, i'd not be able to see anything in front of the stroller with it up. I'd likely mow some kids over before i even saw them LOLOL. For $2500 this stroller is nothing but a status symboli suspect is aimed at the likes of celebs who have handlers to deal with its folding and issues lol

I got this stroller without much thought since it was being sold at a garage sale. I think we paid $600 for it, in perfect condition. It’s certainly a fine stroller, not amazing. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. I found it very hard to collapse. Definitely because of postpartum pain, which is taking forever to go away. I know because it is a lot easier to collapse now. Having to collapse a stroller with your foot is not a good design.
