Edit: Whoops, I don't know how I got the name of the victim mixed up, but it's Cassie Jo Stoddart. I kept reading Cassie Stoddart while researching and then combined it with the "Jo", I think that's how I ended up with Jassie.

That poor woman apologizing to the cops broke my heart.Imagine being that abused that you think everything is your fault, even being chained up...

If you are ever being carjacked remember this,
You are in a metal beast capable of going 120+ mph and is quite durable. Your carjacker most likely isnt in one.

Her name was Cassy not Jessie. They say her name so many times and not once did it ever sound like Jessie.

Fatal Familial Insomnia is a prion disease, like Mad Cow and Chronic Wasting Disease.
Prion diseases are horrifying.

The two boys that murdered Cassie Jo Stoddart are scarier than any horror movie I've ever seen. The way they talk about doing it so casually as they drive to her house, saying things like "the more you're denied something the more you want it" and chuckling. They sound like youtubers filming a harmless video.
Then afterward, they have adreneline but no fear or regret. Barely any emotion at all. It's terrifying. Thank god they'll be locked away for life.

I always feel so sad for people that cant get health care because of cost. Not only does it make it unobtainable, it also adds so much extra stress to an already stressful situation and easily helps decline their health faster.

Cassie's story is horrific. She seemed like a sweet person that trusted the wrong people. Makes me realize how you can never trust no one. I hope she's resting in peace 🙏🏽

I would just like to say: SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING.

(Edit: I am talking specifically about abuse and/or suspected kidnapping)

There’s no such thing as “mind your own business.” There’s no such thing as being a snitch. Those are tactics people use to scare people into silence. If you see someone in trouble, you don’t have to put yourself in harms way, please make sure you’re safe first, but for the love of God SAY SOMETHING. Report it anonymously if you have to.

SEE SOMETHING. SAY SOMETHING. You could save a life. Don’t be a bystander.

I hope the woman in the first clip found happiness and has a good group of friends/people she trusts around her. Mostly, I hope she's been able to realize that none of her trauma was her fault and hopefully coped with it in a healthy manner to the best of her abilities.

that guy who wasn’t able to sleep scared the fuck out of me. Just a few hours of sleep and my whole day is messed up, imagine going months without sleeping? fucking crazy and i felt for him, rip 🙏🏻❤

Person in the attempted car jacking hit the gas and blasted through that other car without even making a sound or increase in breathing. Kept on driving like he just took a normal driving maneuver.

The story about Sydney is one that will *always* get to me. In every picture I've seen of her, Sydney looks like pure sweetness 💕 The "ready for my date" snapchat she sent, looking a bit shy, yet she still put on her beautiful, hopeful smile... blissfully unaware of the soulless, horrendously disgusting monsters planning for and anticipating Sydney to fall into their hellish fantasies. Every time I think about any of the aspects of Sydney's case, it causes me to feel a physically hurtful pang in my heart. However, there's one case detail that'll never fail in making me feel a sob catch in my throat. When Sydney's remains were found divided up between some trash bags, the feature of hers that gave LE a preliminary ID was a tattoo on her arm that read: "everything will be wonderful someday"
RIP Sydney Loofe 💔💔

Her name was Cassie Jo Stoddart, not Jessie. Just to be clear.

I feel bad for Ricard. You can see him slowly fade and its sad. I hope his son can remember him. I hope Ricard is in Heaven watching over his son.

Rest in Peace Ricard Siagian.

He was given death and she was given life. What an irony for "vampires"

14:54 It's horrifying how many Youtubers document their horrific circumstances like this, but we have to make the most of what suffering they went through and respect their losses by seeing how we can do better and do the necessary research.

The Chinese man who had that woman captive is so creepy; he was speaking so calmly to her, and very normal sounding despite the situation (I speak Mandarin as well and he spoke to her as if he was looking out for her)
