Probably the most under-watched anime this season, which is sad because it had a pretty satisfying ending and a cool plot twist to boot.

Easily the best written anime of the season, that final twist at the end was like the cherry on the top.
It was like tarantino dialogue with M.Night shaymalan classic twist

When I first heard about the theory that the people in the show weren't actually animals and Odakawa was just seeing them that way, it made me think "Oh, then he probably sees himself as a walrus because he has low self-esteem about his appearance.".

It was actually very wholesome to find out that he just likes walruses. lol

I can not get over this scene and seeing everyone connect Odokawa's taxi with something that effected them! It was such a great scene with an amazing score with it as well! I was seriously half expecting everyone swimming out to help him

It had a nice relaxing ending until *THAT* person got into the taxi. Then my anxiety went up 1000%.

I really enjoyed this show a lot especially last episode. How everyone is animals based from Odakawa’s view. And the mystery is perfect. It is sad that it is underrated so badly.

The way each character pictured something different when they saw the car falling into the water was just masterful. Summing up their story, motivations and struggles with a single use of symbolism and connecting them all to a single event. This show is not just anime of the season, or even anime of the year, it's one of the best of all time. There's even content beyond the anime like the audio drama and an official rap by Yano that go above and beyond in world and character building. It's honestly so impressive that this came from someone who has never written an anime before.

I caught on to the theme of items dropped into the water throughout the show - just like the dead body - so it was heart-wrenchingly beautiful and sad to see it all come together like this.
