I’m a Capricorn rising, my only child is a Cap sun and Cap Moon and my Dad is a Cap sun! I was a very loving mom but lots of structure. I wasn’t the cold emotionally absent mother that cap moons often are said to have. I worked hard around the house but not outside the home for most of my son’s childhood. Also I don’t wear black, I don’t like it on me, but my son lives in all black. So interesting the differences of cap sun and risings.

I have Capricorn Sun, Mercury, Venus and Midheaven but also a very tight grand sextile in the air and fire signs with my Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Asc/Dsc and Nodes so I don't think my Capricorn is always obvious! Certainly as I get older (44 in a few days) I have become much more comfortable with being a Capricorn and appreciating its positive value more. I think Capricorns can be really, really caring and very real, sound, grounded wise people. If you add a high level of consciousness to Capricorn, it can be a very mystical sign but in a very down-to-earth way. I love my earthiness. I'm an artist so my Capricorn adds real-world business ability. I do still really admire the other signs around about me (Scorpio, Sag, Aquarius and Pisces) for being more watery, quirky, abstract, vibrant, glamorous, less earth-bound etc., but I have grown to be happy with what I add to the mix as well. ❤
