While there are alot of mind games where the outcome of the game isn't determined by how many players you can get to the end or stuff related to it, i believe Chess will always be the 1st game that will come to people's minds when they get asked about a difficult game which involves quick decision-making and critical thinking because it just is so classic that even most kids know what it is to this day and in my case i never saw the point of playing Chess while i was younger but now that i play it so actively it is rather entertaining since it trains my mind to predict and overcome even 10 steps ahead and that's basically what Ayanokoji does in COTE he's playing 3D Chess while everyone's playing Chess.

After reading vol 0 i can't see ayanokouji as an artificial genius, what sets him aside from other people ain't his knowledge, but the way he thinks out of the box and adapts to different situations, did his environment develop his capabilities more than any other place could? sure, is it the only factor?
