I have a different take on this lovely song. It makes me think of getting old, life's journey coming to an end, and being "guided home" by my "best Friend", Jesus, who is "THE Light." (I know some folks won't like that, but, hey, there it is.) Whoever reads this, I hope you find the Light that guides you Home safely. :)

something about existence and the beauty of love... what a beautiful inspiring song! knowing that this life is but just a passing through - the video gives me a sense of peace and makes me feel safe.

I don't usually get into religious type of conversations online unless there's a good passionate conversation about religion. But this song really reminds me of a time I was heading home late one night from work. I usually bike to and from work but recently have been walking more because my bike was taken apart several months ago and part's of it were stolen.

Anyhow, this one night was on the night of the full harvest moon back in October. My bike route to and from work cuts through a trail that's located right behind a cemetery. The mile and a half long stretch of this bike trail get's so dark at night that you just can't ride without having bike headlights on. At night it's not the safest area to ride through to get home, but it is more safer than going through the Bitter Lake neighborhood which see's a lot of crime, and riding up Northgate Way, only to come right up to Aurora (Hwy 99 here in Seattle) which is also more dangerous.

So I'd get scared going home from la from work, I'd zip through 135th and quickly get on the trail just to catch 117th street which takes me all the way up to my house. The night of the harvest full moon just felt different. The bike trail (it's called the Interurban Trail here in Seattle because it use to be a trolley rail line 100+ years ago) was lit up by the sharp brightness and enormity by this moon and how it radiated off the trees and the ground below right in front of me. If you can picture tall Evergreen trees on both sides of a dark trail and the moon right up above in your mind, this is EXACTLY what the view was like.

In the midst of this really dark place, the huge harvest moon right in front of me I lost all sense of fear that I had. I even stopped right in the middle of the trail just to bask in what I was feeling from the whole experience. It really was poetic. I felt this peace and calmness come over me that I can't fully explain. The first words that came to my mind seeing that moon was "guiding light". Even though I got home safely and in once piece like many times before that night, I'm a firm believer in God, and I strongly believe that His angels were guiding me that night along that trail.
