How to Fix the BMW E60 / E90 AWD and DSC Malfunction .. Caused by Disconnecting your Battery

Hey Everyone,

So you're working on your e90 or e60 and you disconnect the battery. Then, you hook the battery up and you have an AWD AND DSC MALFUNCTION! What the heck BMW! Well... Justin Buice taught me a little trick.. All you need to do is turn the wheel all the way to the left... then all the way to the right and BOOM. It's fixed.

Best small video which saved a trip and money to BMW dealership :) I changed the valve cover and noticed this after starting my bmw X5 2013, thought I messed up the wiring or sensors but it was just the issue you mentioned. Thanks man.

It worked on my 2009 E70 X5. I could not clear DSC code after multiple tries with a high end BMW scanner after battery change, but this worked great and easy to do. Much better than paying big bucks at stealer for something so simple. Thanks!
