i am loving your new approach. I dont know if it was planned or just happened to be but it is what we need. People are using social media mostly for communication and entertainment. But the way you are using it to present your knowledge and thoughts to contribute to certain thought processes is commendable.
I really appreciate your effort of capitalizing on right to speech. I can comfortably call you a revolutionary now.
Total Respect!!

Possiblity and probabilities are many, but the problem lies in these possibilities and probabilities turning into reality and actuality are few.

Thanks, they should absolutely design the trainer keeping its future evolution as a f-16 class indigenous fighter. I am expecting decent progress on our engine dev capabilities in the next 5 yrs through tech transfer & local R&D. With an Indian engine this could become a great multi-role fighter with very little dependencies & lower cost.

Lack of our own aero engine is causing immense difficulties for India. Let us hope this major lacuna is somehow resolved soon.

Glad To Know About Update of This Aircraft & The Best Thing is That Even Current Kaveri With Afterburner is Enough to Power This Aircraft.
I Hope For Steady Progress & Big Orders For This Aircraft

Hlft 42 is a very good option it is a cheap and easy to produce for export.... It can be good option for urgent fleet option

Endless possibilities, Endless Procrastination!

True, this is easily a better design than tejas, I wish india made a hlft 42 with actual stealth and weapons capability usable for combat for various roles.

HAL is set to achieve the impossible:
1. Produce 180 Tejas Mk1A fighters.
2. Launch Tejas Mk2 into production.
3. Develop the TEDBF.
4. Roll out the ORCA.
5. Manufacture the CATS Warrior.
6. Perfect the AMCA stealth jet.
7. Deliver the Sitara IJT.
8. Churn out HTT-40 trainers.
9. Build 12 additional Su-30MKIs.
10. Upgrade the existing Su-30 fleet.
11. Revive the Saras civilian aircraft.
12. Create dozens of UAVs.
All at once, and with engines being little more than a vague concept thanks to the never-ending Kaveri saga and the Tejas refusing to vacate the production line. Truly, HAL is redefining multitasking – just without engines or timelines! 😊😊😊

One word of caution: even Russia is not supporting greater indigenization of the Su-30 MKI engine (AL-31FP).
hsjawanda
India needs to move ahead with the new AL-31FN engine for both HLFT-42 and Super Sulkoi programs
