In this live drawing lesson, Ashley will have 45 minutes to create a drawing of a hand holding a coin with graphite pencils on white drawing paper. Learn the basics of drawing hands while using your hands to draw one. Join in live and watch as the drawing develops.

I enjoy these 'Getting Sketchy' lessons and hope to catch one live at some point. They inspire me to create art along with you to challenge myself, because I usually take a long time and need to speed it up. @Ashley: That was a cool approach to the hand drawing. I would never have thought to start it that way. I'll have to try that! @ Matt: Once you mentioned "While My Guitar Gently Weeps, " I knew you were more than a Purple Rain-only level Prince fan. That and the fact that you are encouraging people to go and check out his music makes me like you all the more.

As a left-hander, I can indeed confirm that my LH is useless when it comes to drawing.
I have a bit of a block at the moment, the 'want' is there, but the motivation is lacking. There are reasons of course, but I always watch these vids and I have a membership on TVI. I watch the lessons I'm interested in and at the moment, I'm happy with that. When I'm ready to pick up a pencil again, I will have plenty of knowledge to develop the skills thanks to TVI.
