This is hands down one of the best builds I've seen recently! I'm 100% buying an e30 or e38 and doing this build. This is addicting. I'm re-watching it for the 3rd time. Take notes. This is a build worth trying!!!

In 90's in Europe we saw wide body E30 from Rieger Tuning. And now here it is, wide body in California. Great engine swap and sequential gearbox which is my favorite of all of this car. Greetings

I had an 86 e30 manual I had about a decade ago. So much fun to drive but had too much rust damage from being up north and eventually started falling apart on me so I had to get rid of it. I always wanted to do something like this with it. So its great to see what it could have been. These straights don't do a widebody with a sequential any justice. Get it out on a winding track like Leguna Seca and then its true potential really shines. I always wanted to get into Autocross and eventually GT racing. Never been much of a european guy and I wanted to do this same setup with a gen 2 viper but that 86 e30 I had was just too much fun. Even when it spun out like on a water patch turning onto the freeway it was so balanced that I just gently drifted it back in line with no issues whatsoever. I had some people in a minivan try to cut me off and I didn't allow it so they got mad and tried to force me off the road and the e30 just beautifully dodged their attempts to hit me and I pulled away from them like it was nothing and never saw them again. Just a base model e30 too, not even an M3. Just the regular NA inline 6.
