Healthy Chocolate Banana Smoothie (tastes like dessert!)

This is the smoothie I drink every single morning to start my day. It is incredibly filling with the addition of Oatmeal, and tastes like dessert! I wake up every morning excited to drink it :D

INGREDIENTS

1 Banana (cut up and frozen)
1 tbsp, Raw Cocoa Powder
1 tbsp, Almond Butter
1/3 cup, Oats
1 cup, Almond Milk

METHOD

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth and frothy. Pour into a glass and enjoy! :)

Just made this! Used 1 frozen banana, 1 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/4 cup rolled oats, and some ice cubes. Delicious and filling! No sweetener necessary. Came out to 232 calories. Thanks for the recipe 🙂

I powder the oats first in the blender and add other ingredients later.

When I have made banana and chocolate milkshakes, I have also added some orange juice (preferrably red orange) which gives a freshness to the drink.

i have been looking for some healthy drinks or smoothies to have and this is one I definitely want to try, couple questions though... Could you use regular peanut butter instead of a nut butter? Also how many bananas do you usually put in the blender?

Made this using: 109g Frozen Banana, 15g Whole Grain Oats, 1 cup Chocolate Soy Protein Drink, 0.5 cup 1% Milk & 4 cubes of ice. Made ~16fl oz
Nutrition: 407 kcals, 7g fat, 8mg cholesterol, 59g carbohydrate, 8g fiber, 29g protein, 365mg sodium, 33g sugar

Cheers!! Yum thanks for the recipe! Same size blender too lots of recipes online and on youtube only serve 1-2. This will serve easily 3+. Great for kids. Keep up the good work
