If I'm listening to the radio - it's on CBC - I've learned more there about Canada, Canadians, the World than anywhere!  As a single person, I'd have been so lonely without that voice.  I had no television for years and it kept me up to date and entertained.  I like the way they dig to find really interesting and sometimes obscure stories - like today on the current about the Kenyan Masai boy who figured out how to keep lions away from their herd without killing them.  Just a small example of how they stay on my "Favorites" list. And the music they find and play lets me constantly discover new and talented Canadian musicians - like Lauren Mann and the Fairly Odd Folk!  I am so so happy I had my radio on the other day and heard them sing.  I'm now a huge fan!  Thank you so much CBC!
