i want a grey or blue one one thing to note...only the 250 dollar limited edition set comes with the magnifier ..the thing i love about this release.. is it might pressure nintendo to make one...hopefully the size of the gba micro or larger.. im hopeful for this device because of the modding comunity..play asia already sold out tho so i gotta wait D:

I didnt see this coming, was also expecting something major with alot sites hyping it up. Funny how they added a big screen accessory for it, idk what there thinking.

Hopefully down the road we might see a Dreamcast Mini, or maybe SEGA somehow getting back into the main consoles but i know its gonna be very tough with the big 4 out there.

I tend to agree with you, Eric. If this was an actual Game Gear Micro that was a little larger, that had 40 or so pre-loaded games, and/or played actual Game Gear cartridges, then I’d be excited. But not with this.

For me this announcement was a disappointment, Sega should have just made a Game Gear mini the same size as the first model Gameboy Advance with 50 built in games. I had a Game Gear as a kid and really enjoyed it...but, this is nonsense. The Genesis mini was really good so I don't understand why they went this route instead of a proper Game Gear mini.
