Full-album visualizer of Halation (2020) by Aaron Cherof

Halation is a collection of ambient and minimalist piano and synth compositions that were made between March and May 2020 during lockdown. I remastered and rereleased it today alongside this visualizer performance.

When I was a little kid I had a CD player, and one of the CDs had a variety of songs, the first one that always played was a calming piano piece. Whenever I heard it, I imagined gray cloud-like shapes and patterns with a light behind the clouds, all flowing and moving with the music. To this day I don't know exactly why I thought about that pattern, and I don't even remember the song that played.
"An Opened Door, " and it's visuals, reminds me of when I would think about those clouds--not in the sky, but in it's own existence, separate from everything, like a dream--and from it, the calmness and serene peace. The piano used in "An Opened Door" is not the same as the other piano song from what I remember, but it's still a pretty song nonetheless, and I can feel and remember the same feelings of calmness that I haven't felt in a long time from this song. It makes me feel like a four-year-old again, innocently enjoying the beauty of life.

I'm sorry but "An Unopened Door" Is so similar to "Aphex Twins" Avril 14th it's insane.
