You know, all of the resorts you take us to all over the world tell a different story, of the same subject of the locale they are in.. beach, desert, mountains, city. The main subject is when you want to leave the world you live in and experience a different perspective of, if for a little while, your senses, spirit, and soul. The Oberoi is no exception. It has a feeling different from every other beach resort and yet in the same setting. That's what makes luxury travel so unique. Bravo, yet again, and thank you.

Hey doc. At the outset I loved the title of this video. Indian hospitality at it's best. Thank you so much for that great compliment. We Indians go out of our way to treat guests when they drop by. In Sanskrit there is a saying ' atithi devo bhava' which equates guest with God.

This property is stellar and your videography is top notch.

Oberoi Mauritius is reminiscent of civilizations like the Indus valley that have gone by.

It feels good to see your wife and son on your recent trips. Your son is an adrenaline junkie for sure.

I think compare with One & Only, THE OBEROI emphasize on the material build on their hotel (orange/ blown wall), more option on Indian food. One & Only seems more "internationalized", more open and bright view on spa, restaurants hire big name chefs and with other Asian food, seems more sumptuous. Actually if either hotel to choose, ignore the budget, it is very difficult to pick.

This is a really beautiful design. I really liked the sculptures in the garden and the old black and white photos on the wall in the room. The garden lamps are also beautiful. I really like it when they incorporate elements of the original culture.

This is quite an impressive resort I kept thinking that at any minute now James Bond agent 007 was going to land on the beach with his drop dead sidekick maybe the beautiful Australian blonde bombshell Margot Robbie running away from villains. I love the quaint 17th century French fortress/garrison for a nice tasting of native Mauritian plates with a touch of French creole, African, Asian the earlier settlers. My goodness. The villas surrounded by a cluttered pool and garden that is somewhat dried due to not enough rain or watering by the gardeners then with a small trail to a cove of golden sand and lots of volcanic rocks that have been there for 100 years perhaps which do not give much wiggle room for the beachgoer to swim and enjoy. During the entire video of the beach there is no white sandy beach it is all golden and very limited. The adult pool is great it is an infinity pool and quiet, clean as should be. The other pool again very cluttered with artifacts which can be scary to the young swimmers and we are not in the swashbuckling days of pirates in the Indian Ocean. The Spa does not look appealing, there are not too many restaurants/bars. Love the music and how it changes. Please show us resorts on this little gem of a country in the middle of the Indian Ocean called Mauritius that have white sand beaches and the properties are gorgeous with palm trees, coconut trees, flowers of al varieties, infinity salt water pools no more chlorine and bars and restaurants, gift shops, boutiques, restaurants even a French bistro something like that. Thank you so much and please continue to show us beauty and every time bigger and better resorts on these lovely gems of islands in the Indian Ocean - Mauritius, Maldives, Seychelles, Madagascar.
