I feel this song so deeply in my heart ❤!! 15 years ago I was in a deep depression and didn't want to live so I started doing drugs because I didn't want to commit suicide. I lived through the devastation of my Daddy committing suicide! I have a son and I didn't want to him to go through that!! I had been sent a post card several years before from a Christian friend who had put her phone number on it and told me if I ever wanted to go to church with her to just call. One day when God was speaking to my heart I got that card out and called the lady and asked if she would come by that Sunday and take me to church, which she did with great joy!! I was saved and baptized with her. She and I no longer go to the same church but she had shared the YouVersion Bible app with me and now I read it everyday!! She still shares special messages with me today too!! I'm no longer that person who doesn't want to live but instead I try to learn and grow everyday as a Christian. But, your song reminds me of how far I've come but also that I'm still not where I'm going but I'm on the right path now!!!❤❤❤

I am a professor at a Christian university and each week, I share what I call "worshipful moments" with my students. I take a Christian principle and I find a song that goes with it. This week, it was this song. I wrote:
Have you spent much time considering what "sanctification" means in your walk with Christ?  To sanctify means to dedicate something to God.  In our walks with God, the more we learn how to dedicate more and more of ourselves to God, to more we grow in sanctification.  There are three types of sanctification believers in Christ go through:

1) The crisis of sanctification.  This is the "I once was lost, but now I'm found" moment.  This is when we trusted Christ with our eternity, making Him Lord over our lives.  We know our home is in heaven and we begin to become aware of things in our lives that displease God (the first one with me was foul language).

2) The process of sanctification.  As we mature in Christ, we learn how to rely on Him more, walk with Him more, leave more things behind, and bring more godly things into our lives.

3) The culmination of sanctification.  This is when we put off our earthly bodies and enter into His eternal rest.  We shall be able to know Him fully because we shall be like Him.  "Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is" (I John 3:2 ESV).

In the song "No Doubt About It, " from We The Kingdom, they address the process of sanctification:

I love that line, "I'm not yet where I'm going/But I'm a long way from where I was."  That is the story of the Christian walk.

This might be a little "under the radar" on the new album. I really like the entirety of the new album, but this is one of my favorite songs. It just speaks to me every time I hear it. I see my faults and mistakes, but praise be to God that he sees the finished product through Christ who died for me and loves me.

When I was a you adult, I had a miraculous encounter on the highway. A fellow student and I both literally saw a super natural hand in the sky above the highway in front of us. A few minutes prior to that we saw a rainbow directly behind us stretching across both lanes. It was like we at the bottom of the rainbow on the lucky charms cereal box. Our Bible school teacher had told us to remember the promises of God whenever we saw a rainbow, and then we not only saw that behind us but a supernatural hand in the sky above the highway in front of us. I didn’t know what it was about, but I knew it was from God. We were on our way to the area the hand was hovering over: church at our Bible college campus. We got there just in time, when the choir stood up and sung about the highway. We had just seen something super natural, so we looked at each other with eyes as big as quarters. Then our pastors wife have her testimony and she named it, ” The sovereign hand of God.” She proceeded to give her testimony on how God spoke to her, her spiritual mother and their pastor about how she was going to marry the visiting pastor she didn’t even know yet. He spoke to all three of them separately at the same time. When I graduated, our school’s president told me, ” You are going to go far.” I am still not sure exactly what she meant by that. I can tell you one thing though. I’m a lot farther than where I used to be. I persevered after God with my whole heart until I found him. Everyday, I’m excited to find him again. I want to know him better so that I can be more like him.

I've always loved this song, one of my favorites!!!
Today it has a whole new meaning. I've started a journey lately, it's called cancer. Already had radical surgery and getting ready to start radiation therapy and chemo. I know I'm going to come out the other side just like I've always been...with a smile on my face. I was already heading home in the first place. Don't cry for me, but for the ones that don't know Jesus Christ. My job has never changed, never will...got you all in my prayers, God Bless ☝️🤲❤️😁
