One of the most informative S18 videos out there!

If you are using the supplied pump all those turns needed to install open the Schrader valve and close it before releasing the pressure to the gauge. Reinstalling to check pressure likely equalized the pressure all the way back to the gauge, resulting in the lower value. Hope this is more helpful than just a whiny remark. Still getting use to my S18, but mostly enjoying the speed on bumpy sidewalks.

Hey Mitch, just wanna say thanks. I caught your vid & your shock settings gave me some extra food for thought. After adjusting it based on your thoughts, I found my S18 to perform significantly better then what I had before. For whatever reason, the recommended factory settings are so far off from optimum.
I also diy'd front pads from yoga blocks that look somewhat similar to yours. While not the best looking of em all, it does the job quite nicely.

Nice video & good content bro. My ride with VS is always on the street with high speed riding, but juz got my S18 & now I love riding trails/off road, i can't go ride fast, exhausted a bit but it is really fun

I agree with everything u said including the range. Its plenty for me. Keep it under 25km/h = 4+ hours in range. If u group ride at high speed it will struggle in range if the group ride is more then a few hours long. Hope describing range this way helps and hope it is accurate enough that people don't get angry at me. Nice jumps!

Just got a 16s on 3/2/21. I can see my next wheel will be of the off road persuasion. I’ll wear out the 16s first, tho. Ride on !

I'm between 16x and S18. I almost like everything about S18 over 16X, except the battery pack. I'm don't doing long distances, as I live in a small city, but I'm concerned about the power it can deliver to me. The idea is that I weight about 100-105kg. I'm actually riding now a KS-16S wheel, and for it's 1.2kW/840Wh, it's doing very good of handling my weight, and I fell the lock of power when I'm doing some free riding.
And I'm interested if the current battery pack will deliver enough power for a good free riding experience.

Mitch, I just purchased the S18 and it's on order from EUCO. I have never ridden before but what I understand this is a great wheel to learn on. My question is, should I lock out the suspension while learning until I get the hang of it?
Thx, bob
