Damn this is really "The One Ring" here. If I ever wanted to run a bigger system, I'd definitely look here

Having a DSP is a POSITIVE, and here is why. A DSP lets you pinpoint the exact frequency crossover and slope, allowing you to match the acoustic slope of your speakers. I do not care how loud and clear you think your PA speakers are. Proper time alignment will allow your system to go from screaming to singing. A DSP will allow for phase adjustments and all-pass filters (on some DSPS), but amplifiers can not. The biggest adjustment would have to be the learning curve of how to properly use a dsp and not just boost frequencies like most SPL guys like to do

Plenty of power for a whole system, active front 3 way, basic rear fill and sub power enough to push a pair of 15s or some other large quantities of smaller subs

JP pulled up, and everyone stepped back and took notice. The equipment (his whole fukin line) speaks for itself!

product idea for them; one of those easy rca boxes, but something that lets you boost your input to 6v line out, or even adjustable (per channel/pair?), to tune to a given whatever.

mmm, 10 channels for bi-amped front, rear, and a set of subs or a mono channel to run how you want. good stuff.

I think this a will sell really well! For most people who wants to add a (more than) decent system 😁
I like the idea of them making it a pure amplifier, no dsp, no boost, just power!

Other thing about the JP amps is floor noise. Most aren’t worried about it, but if you are one of those super expensive sq equipment purchasers for absolute sq, these aren’t the ones. If you’re not going to test absolute noise, including floor noise, these JP amps are extremely nice in the sq realm. Cheers!!!!

Thank you for the review as always, working on getting all the other caps in nichicon in there but its quite the undertaking

I’ve got a JL VXI 800 sitting in storage. Now there’s a 10 Channel that would actually push the entire system I’m planning

The power from modern amps is just mind blowing! As an old school basshead I remember how much damn money it cost to make some noise 25+ years ago! Awesome 👍

With no onboard crossover, you are expected to use a 10 ch DSP. Why not put a fiber optic output on the DSP and fiber optic input on the amp? It would make installation so much easier and clean.

Really cool solution to a mid level build.
Properly matched with efficient drivers, I'll wager this would power a very enviable system

Way to go. Nicely done and a fair price.

Interesting product but not sure I see a big market for it. For someone looking for a simple upgrade, 5/6 channel amp is perfect, especially amps like Audio Control that have nice DSP options built in. I feel like enthusiasts would go with multiple amps and external processing for more control and install options, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Im thinking, I might do something like this, if I had one of these:
channels 1 & 2: (HF) PRV D-280 hlcd
3 & 4: (mr) Scanspeak Revelator 6.5"
5 & 6: (m/b) B & C PE32 12" midbass
7 & 8: (subs) bridged to IA Flatlyne 15"
9 & 10: (subs) bridged to IA Flatlyne 15"
* just bench-racing here off the top of my head, so don't bother telling me anything negative

Toughest part of shopping for amps these days is deciding which color JP amp I should get bc I don't even look at other brands anymore

Hey D4S should make the EZY RCA110 an adapter to work off a USB brick. That thing could be crazy useful in non 12V situations...

On a side note, speaking of “pig tails”, I actually one time I had to eliminate all rca plugs and use direct soldering because for some reason, the plugs likes to rattle off with bass and bumps on the road which can be annoying.

PLEASE ask JP to produce a matching DIY male RCA kit (to match the dongle RCAs for those of us who like to display our connectors)... multiple options, Y-Splitter DIYs or whatever would be great... LOVE the Kicker marine line for the ultimate flexibility... is there any focus group need? IDK. Like in Tron, I'm 'just' a User, not part of the Program. No complaints about D4S... no one has done what JP has done. Kudos. Plz don't tell Mr. Irby.
