You did all of that work and then ran your speaker cables through your port with no sort of acoustical wrap or something to keep it from rattling. My follow up to that would be. Did you even tune this to the speaker or did you just make random measurements for ported enclosure? I seriously cannot believe you took the time to receive the woofer into the box and router the edges and stuff and you couldn’t put a terminal/speaker connector on, blow my mind.

Built my own 10" woofers back in the early 80's. Much better found large speaker boxes somebody was throwing away so recycled them by changing only the baffle. Also built a set of Coral speakers by AWA Australia in the 70's. Again somebody was throwing away boxes, so I recycled them. Sound was awsome. If you have a decent set of speakers and combination size box, you won't need a subwoofer unless used in surround system. Oh and another thing you are brilliant at carpentry, but when you study audio you will find that you never hear a low frequency properly in a vehicle because a 20Hz note is actually 52 foot long. You will only ever hear harmonics of that note.

Use wood spacers clamped to the bottom of the jigsaw plate to slowly cut material perfectly straight. That will save alot of time sanding or filing it later. (Basically a guide to keep it steady and not track off using your hand alone from the vibrations the jigsaw causes.)

I built a very similar Box 3 years ago with a Pioneer 10" DVC 4ohm D4, ran it from a Part Express Dayton 240 Watt Sub Plate AMP. Well Braced and yet most of the Bass was wasted off to the sides of the cab. It only sounded FULL when placed in a corner or in the back of my GMC Envoy. So I rebuilt another Cabinet but with a 4" Belled Port (5 would have been better) and never looked Back!

I personally use screws and silicon sealant. That allows me to be able to take the box apart later if needed.
