Now the price of sumo gold has been increased drastically even though tata has done a cost cutting technique by removing some designed and accessories parts originally in the car(e.g. sticker on the sides), I bought a sumo gold cr4 last year, it cost just around 7 lakhs with full sumo gold parts

well! i have driven this suv. it is best on papers only. drawbacks are- Heavy body roll(literally Scary), very long gear throw, poor leg room in first and middle row(i was surprised the most by this fact), poor plastic quality.
pros of this SUV~ Very small turning radius, power full engine, powerfull AC.

Best suv for Indian middle class... good mileage great overall performance good space very easy and pocket friendly to maintain and king of the hills....I own a Victa and I love it ....very trustworthy vehicle

Somo was and still much better than bolero. Body roll is much lesser than bolero so pahado me bolero ki tarah ulti nahi aati. Suspension bahot he badhiya hai sumo ka. But tata has not improved the looks, interiors and engine like mahindra did for bolero. No major facelift was provided. Hence, bolero beats it by huge margin.
