Which Charger? HOTA S6 vs Toolkit M6DAC? - FPV Questions

I have a three year old HOTA and still going strong. Never has it given me a problem.

Have a toolkitRC M6 for 3 years never had any isssues. Had 4 Hota F4, all burned one or more channels in under a year of use. Just bought 4 M6D. They were not well calibrated, but after calibration seem to be perfect. About 1 month of use now. I prefer the UI of ToolkitRC and a few cool little features like continuous mode which allows u to just keep plugging in batteries that are the same with the same charge parameters and they charge without having to press anything between packs

I'm on my second Hota D6 pro, the first one I got, the screen died in less than a day. The replacement is great though. I have a ToolkitRC M6, the small one, and it's been rock solid, but I only use it for travel since I got the Hota. I originally bought a ToolkitRC M4Q (I still fly 4s and I thought quad charging would be cool) before I got the Hota, and the screen was DOA so it was unusable. That's why I replaced it with the Hota which ironically also developed screen issues. So- my anecdotal experience- 50% success rate with both brands. My mates report that the calibration drifts on their TookitRC chargers, though it hasn't been the case for me.

have a 6 month old toolkit rc q4ac that I was unplugging the power cable on the other day. I let the charger drop about 2 inches onto the ground, and the ac power port no longer powers it. the xt60 dc input plug still works but not using the ac adapter which is what I was using. it's never left the house as well so it's been treated very good overall besides this ground bump.

My 3 year old HOTA d6 pro is still great. I got a small dc-only toolkitrc charger for field charging and it came with the screen peeling off.

Excuse me. Did we forget the video with the 10 toolkit rc chargers opened and being faulty?
Had two chargers from them. Both faulty to the point of not usable.

Just getting into FPV and i recently got the Gens Ace Imars Dual for around the same price as the M6DAC in my area

I got my hota s6 replaced and it works great. I guess it was just the first one i bought that was bad. Never trust a fart. err.. I mean ebay.

I have the P6, F6, D6+ and the D6 Pro.
love my scroll wheel and just works.

I've heard enough bad stories to be scared of the toolkit stuff.

Toolkitrc is hit and miss depending on the model, the m6d and m4ac are awesome and probably their best, alot of their others models are shit, the m6 is the worst! If not dangerous, i have no experience with the m6dac personally though...
