Just imagine what Guardiola, Klopp, Mourinho, Ancelotti etc are saying about Southgates tactics in the privacy of their own home with no cameras around. Lol.

Why is it always replace Saka. Saka was involved in every goal England scored so far. Foden played 3 positions for city, 10, lw and rw and had 27 G/A this season Saka had 25G/A. For England Foden has 6 g/a in 36 saka has 27 in 25 starts. Espnfc ignoring the facts and focusning on hype.

Don't know why people are so surprised. The last four matches against Denmark (regular time) have ended with three draws and a loss to England. But as always we believe that we are superior. Reality check needed. And the excuses were bollocks, the pitch was terrible (it was), the heat was terrible (yeap), but Denmark is not an exotic country and there players played on the same pitch and really they are pro players so it is not better for them than England. And even though England has got the star players, the danish team has players from Barcelona, Roma, Anderlecht, Man U, Benfica, Tottenham, Brentford, Leicester, Milan etc etc and my point is that a team of pro good players playing as a team and with a game plan will almost always beat a star team with no game plan.

Southgate should’ve gone after last tournament. Something is going on behind the scenes. He’s lost the dressing room. Players look pissed off and negative. SG is making them look like mugs.
He should’ve used the friendlies to experiment not the tournament. Poor planning g and preparation. The guy is a fool.

All the big teams are winning.. Denmark should have done the same instead of giving the small opposition the chance to draw

Isn’t this exactly how they started the last euros . An unconvincing 1-0 win over Croatia and then a drab 0-0 vs Scotland . And last World Cup where they played a very underwhelming draw vs USA .

Bellingham was experimenting his invisibility powers as always

Slothgate sounds clueless and that's affecting the players.I wouldn't want a manager with no proper sense of direction

Rodri has been the best player in the premier league and City’s most important player but it’s okay give the praise to Foden. If all these players like Foden, Trent, Saka, Rice, Kane, Bellingham and the rest that you keep saying are world class players, they don’t need Ancelotti or Pep to comfortably beat Denmark, and Serbia. The truth is that most of these English players are bang average and they received praise that they don’t deserve at club football.

England, we will never learn, let's stop expecting them to win and just enjoy them scoring one goal then crapping themselves.😂😂😂😂

England are and always have been a second tier nation. Behind France Italy Spain Germany Argentina Brazil etc. Not sure why all the hate. English have been overrated and overhyped for 60 years. Their players are good but not great. Foden isnt the same without Rodri, Bellingham isnt the same without kroos/modric, kane isnt the same without musiala. Spain Germany France will absolutely school England if they make it through

The one dude says he should sit down stars that aren’t playing well, but then he goes on to criticizing for setting Bellingham down

The real problem here is that all English experts, commentators, socalled "journalists" and fans automatically expect that the England team is ALWAYS going to be way better than every on paper (!) "smaller' team and be able to beat them with ease, even if it's a really well organised, tactically skilled and hard working team like Denmark with nearly all of its players also playing for big clubs around Europa, who are at least just as good technically and physically as your England players.

Several of England's starting players wouldn't even be able to make it into the Danish starting line-up, and not even among the substitutes in some cases, but you simply refuse to realise this for some mysterious reason.

No, you are NOT a better team than Denmark in general, as modern football history clearly shows, but you desperately want to think so and therefore always assume it in advance without really studying the facts and your "smaller" opponents.

England does indeed have a handful of really great individual players, but they are not really working very well together typically, not very well organised at all, don't understand each others far too often, not really hard working all the time and not really willing to run the extra mile - and they don't really have great tactical skills either - that is not just Southgate's fault! -, when they are being neutralised or shielded off and then completely lack alternative plans and ideas.

What you are completely missing here, is that Denmark were actually playing with the handbrake pulled ( to ensure a good result ), and that they just knew in advance from deep analysis before the match which England players to neutralise and shield off where and when.

And Denmark just KNEW that they stood a really great chance of getting a good result against this quite harmless and often bewildered England team, if they just followed the tactics, played very disciplined, worked hard and stressed the rather mediocre English defensive players, as they were most awkwardly and very slowly attempting to play forward - just like Serbia did very successfully towards the end of England's first round match, and which the pretty good, tactically skilled and hard working Slovenia team will now also have noticed before their last match against England. 😊

In Denmark the fans were of course very pleased with this positive result for our team, but no-one here was really surprised by it ( especially after seeing a very poor England team playing against the rather messy and often very lazy Serbia team ).
And most people here thought that Denmark had been dominating for most of the match and had actually deserved to win against this very predictable and poorly organised English team - without even playing at full steam.
