I used to work as an optometrist assistant, and the trick to applying eyedrops is to tilt your head back, lightly close your eye and drop the liquid into the very inner corner of your eye. When you open your eye the liquid will roll right in.

I once provided my honest review on Sephora about a hyped product which I bought and suggested no buy, surprisingly found out that my review was removed. I tried couple of times, still my review was not added. But I could add positive review on other brands. After that, I don’t trust the stats it provided any more.

Working in the field I would agree that you probably are struggling with chronic dry eye. You can also see your optometrist and ask them for plugs, which help with dry eye. Sustain gel is great! That’s all we ever used for our patients after lasik surgery. Tilt your head and look to the outer corner and drop the eye drop where the tear duct is in the inner corner, helps so much. So happy you got this recommendation!

You are giving me intergalactic school mistress on the prairie vibes with the hair/top combo, I live!! I feel you on the watery eye front. My eyes water in the morning, but they become bothersome because if I don’t handle them, the water dries on my upper lashes and corners and starts to get crusty. It’s an awful feeling! So I find myself drying my eyes every morning while I’m waiting at the stop light. I’ll try leaving them alone and see what happens

Hannah! First, I love your channel and think it's been a godsend to my makeup/ shopping addicted brain.

Second, I struggle with dry eyes and want to share what the eye doctor has suggested for me.
Use a humidifier.
Put a warm wet compress on your eyes morning and night and gently massage. This stimulates oil production
Adding Omega 3 fatty acids to diet
Skipping the water line when you do eyeliner
Limit screen time
One of the most helpful things was to get tiny plugs inserted into my tear ducts by the eye doctor. It's quick, painless, invisible and helped me a lot.

I like the systane drops as well. I've used those for a few years now and they are definitely helpful.

Another eye drop application technique: pull down your lower eye lid slightly to create a little basin for the drop of liquid you gently release. I find it much less aggressive than the head tilting or slightly closing the eyes and dropping it in the corner. I am a contact lens wearer, so eye drops are easy compared to contacts.
