Cheap Budget Soundproofing Floors for $50!

Soundproofing a floor for $50 can be achieved using specific materials, but it won't be as effective as using resilient channels or adding an extra layer of drywall on the ceiling below. These methods primarily focus on sound deadening, which reduces both footstep noise and airborne noise.

I put 1lb MLV under my 13” x 10” area rug and mat in my bedroom WHAT a difference downstairs neighbors were noise harassing with really low noise and it completely stopped it. They are still harassing with higher frequency noise I am planning to extend the MLV with soundproof table to the walls and add more matting and carpet tiles. Is their any type of products that help with higher frequencies I am going to soundproof outlets and radiator pipes with the sealant you suggested. THANK YOU so much for the good nights sleep I am getting again just from using your suggestion on

How can I stop noise from below? The people in the apartment below, , banging their cabinets and their walking sends vibrations up to my unit and vibrates my bed. Can I put pads under the legs of my bed or something of the sort?

Do you have any videos looking at how much of a difference MLV under an area rug makes? I have noise coming up from below, rent, and have considered it but didn't think it would be very effective?

Hey! Great video. I’m coming from your door soundproofing video. I have a sliding transparent door 😬 as my bedroom door and am planning to add a thin door sweep/ moving blankets. Any other tips for soundproofing sliding doors? Thanks!

Love the videos! Hoping to build my first small rental where its a 3br 2bth upstairs unit and below units are 2br 1 bth and 1br 1bth.... in terms of sound deafening between the upstair unit and the two downstairs unit what do you recommend? If i simply only did the RC clips would that make a huge difference? Or if i didnt do the RC clips and just did the rubber dampening beneath the LVP would that suffice too? (In both scenarios there will be insualtion of course)

Hey 👋 I need 2 advices, , see if anyone talks from other room or phone ring or even small sound from kitchen I can hear it in my room which is very irritating and ya I don't know about my door that its solid or hollow but its wood and the gaps are less thinking of installing mass loaded vinyl 2000kg. Or any other option??? I cant afford new door

2nd advice
I am thinking to change the window to soundproof so which frame would be better ?? Aluminium or upvc or other ?? And glass double glazed vs laminated?? Also I am on tight budget
Please reply 🙏 and if possible please make video on different types of window frames and glasses but please reply to my this situation ❤

Do you have a way to soundproof the floor so we can stop hearing the downstairs neighbor gaming in the middle of the night?

Hey man repeating a comment I posted from a previous video you made: I live in an apartment and got some mentally ill neigbours that think they're super secret agents (if they are, yeesh they should make mental screening a regular manditory thing) and make a lot of noise during the day and night.

I want to test this odd experiment out to see if it could muffle these creeps overall noise production, but this is a rental and I don't have the funds to do so.
Is it okay if I suggest a video idea here so you could probably look into it and thoroughly test it out ?
THE IDEA: so at the top of the dry wall, 4 inches below the ceiling, make holes big enough for a puddy calking or some form of foam calker's nozzle to fit in- about 6 inches apart from each hole made. Fill them with the best calk filler (or your best suggestion, I am not familiar with this stuff) and see if this small wall barrier blocades the sounds resonationg through the hollow dry walls.

This would help out a lot man, love your videos man. These fiends were not raised by proper parents and have some undiagnosed serious mental illness, no matter the police interventions or the property managment warning them, their illness kicks into over drive and dismisses all that. They have been doing this for more than three years now, creepy mofos...

There is a filter in our brain that can filter out noise. Noise irritation is a psychological problem.
