ROBLOX The Classic Event.. it sucks

roblox released a new event for classic roblox players, as one myself i can't remember playing skibidi toliet tower defense and enjoying it a lot

-Natural disaster survival
-Build to survive
-Meepcity (not actually)
-Prison Life
-Underground War
-Crossroads
-Speedrun 4
-Apocalypse Rising
-Zombie Rush
-Jailbreak
-Epic Minigames
-basically ANYTHING

But ofc, ttd is a *classic*

The developers literally thought: oh if I add a car from old roblox I’m classic or if I put the word classic that means I have a classic game, that is perfect

Make a cake literally had their own retro event cause it was not in the classic event. MAKE A CAKE IS LITERALLY ONE OF THE MOST CLASSIC GAMES I CAN THINK OF.

Genuinely cannot believe they made a Classic event without a single classic game, like cmon, not even natural disaster survival? I swear that game is as old as time itself at this point

I honestly think that it would’ve been better to do game selections from each specific era of Roblox

3 games from 2006-2010 (ex. Work at a pizza place, Sword Fight on the Heights, Undead Coming)

3 games from 2011-2016
(Natural Disaster Survival, Welcome to the Town of Robloxia, Paintball)

3 games from modern Roblox

The way they made it only caters to the newer players >:(

Roblox really thought they could pull an og fortnite week event, without any semblance of the original games.

Here are some reason why those games were picked:

1: Many of these older games haven't been updated in months, or in some cases years. They couldn't add games that have been abandoned.

3: *The event wasn't made to showcase older Roblox games*. It was to, as they quoted "A classic spin on the modern Roblox" That's why games such ad blade ball and TTD were used.

3: Re occurring games such as TDS, Blade Ball and TTD appeared due to how they did and/or preformed in the hunt even just a month back. Either due to monetary gain or general quality (TDS is one example) but mainly the money aspect.

I hope these reasons make it seem a bit more clear on why the event is like this

I started playing in 2008, as I look at my old favorites, none of those games are shown even by John, which makes me feel extremely old.

I think that the event is supposed to be a spin on the classic roblox games by adding some retro things to newer games to mimic the older roblox but at the same time show how different it is now? Also roblox prob tried to message classic/golden age devs but they probably weren’t active.

Im ashamed of roblox for not even putting natural disaster survive or kill the killers in area 51 because those games are the first 2 games i ever played when i joined roblox in 2016 and oml those were some good times

The problem with this event to me is the fact that everything is a scavenger hunt. Having everything a scavenger hunt is tedious and frustrating. They aren't even good minigames with clues, but are just look at the wiki and search everywhere as you do this in the duration of 4 days.
