Absolutely love twisting my hair and many styles you can do with it. This video was very detailed on keeping them maintained and looking the best they can. It’s coming up on week 6 and it’s finally starting to get frizzy which I love so I see another 2 weeks before taking them down to let my scalp rest for a bit. Overall an amazing video!

I’m just finding this video after searching how to maintain mini twist for 3 plus months because I have decided to put mini twist in my hair for 6 months and this video encouraged me to do so now that I know how to maintain them. Indigenous strands also encouraged me to rock my twist and to care for the matted ones as I go along. She uses fenugreek gel to care for her ends and I’m going to try that. DIY gel. I heard that braiding them at the roots cuts down on matting as well.

Hi Pamarow, I rock my mini twists and absolutely loooove them.. I keep them healthy by detangle re-twist once a month... I wash it maybe once to twice a month and seal it with excellento...its lovely, also each week i find that i have to at least apply my cantu leave in with argan or cantu coconut oil spray and also aussie milk from time to time. I made the mistake of slowing down on putting any of these in my hair and she retaliated by badly breaking. Sealing with excellento really make the difference and my hair stays moist.
