My Holley Red died with less than 5, 000 miles on it, and it hadn't been sitting. In fact, it died in the midst of a long run at a national event. I went down to O'Reilly, bought a generic electric pump, installed it (by the side of the road), and drove on. It was so cheap, I bought a spare because I was sure it couldn't last. It was still on the car 15 years later when I sold it.

I had stored one of those pumps once and the vanes seized on me. The next one I stored, I sprayed WD-40 in it and let it run for 20 seconds before storing it. 2 years later, it was still good to go. Merry Christmas Tony.
