Reasons why i could not clear the cutoff( secured 91 percentile) for mains:-
1: Inconsistency(in 12th)
2: Not enough problems solving( Fully solved my VMC modules and workbook and did all pyqs till 11th end, but in 12 th nill baate saanata)
3: watching only lectures(in 12th)
4: No mock test (in 12th)
5: Not Tracking my preparation (in 12th)
It is totally my fault, I am not going to blame anybody. Taking a drop this year and will avoid all mistakes that i did and will definitely secure a good rank in advance 2025.

I don't agree a lot with this
Paper level mostly same tha as last year, but this year the avg score for all shifts to go for 99%ile increased by approx 30 number even after the increment of students across all shifts which should have rather decreased the avg score if bottom 4 lakh candidates were increased. To understand this better take this example :
In a shift 1 lakh students appeared and the score required for 99%ile, i. e, 1000 rank in that shift you had to score 175 marks and for 1500 rank, 160, so if bottom 0.5 lakh candidates were increased the 99%ile would go at 160 marks, the rank remaining constant

The simple reason is competition is increasing year by year because of excessive growth of online education in the recent years, so better aim for under 500 rank in adv, working hard without wasting a day else the exam has always a better choice😅
