Doesn't matter how resilient you are at spending money on gacha games, the longer you play the game the more it feels justifiable to spend. They prey on you in the long run, that's the secret on these games. Also if you have friends playing the game together, you're both fukked. Stop playing with them and play something else.

Funny thing is Genshin Impact is a game with so much potential, yet it's ruined by this Gacha money grabbing crap. I honestly hope this monetization stays niche, and NEVER reaches mainstream.

I dont play gacha games, and I'm happy that I'm spending my money to purchase games instead of recharging in a gacha games, I believe markets should be more high toward purchasing games instead of recharging or topups for gacha.

Thanks so much brother. I used to play like 5 different gacha games a while ago and then one day I though to myself, why am I playing this many? There isn’t enough time so I’ll never be able to competitive at said game. Do I deleted them all, but 1. Epic Seven. My favorite and first ever gacha game. Just recently I thought about picking up a new gacha game since there isn’t anything going on in e7 really. So I redownloaded Dislyte. Yes you read that right. I redownloaded it and was planning on returning to the game and the community I fostered and built. You have swayed my decision. I only have 2 more days left of school and then it’s summer. I realize I don’t want to spend all this time playing games. I actually want to improve my life. My relationships, my body everything. I want to say Thank-you though. I’m gonna think about this more😊

For most gacha, After the first 2 weeks it would take 1 week - 4 weeks to get some noticable progress

When it should only be like 1-2 hours

I got addicted on gacha games back then Literally i have 6 games
Arknights, Genshin, Honkai, fgo Princes connect, epic seven, and pgr
Good thing it only last for a week and i just stayed playing arknights cuz I'm lazy as hell to grind and im into tower defense, satisfying, edgy, dark theme

I might be one of the only few people who play Genshin for the Lore...yes I have spent money on this game but that was the only the Welkin and BP I can't imagine spending thousands on this game but I genuinely love how fun this game is even if you have to grind for artifacts 🥴 but this is my first Gacha games I don't think I'll play another Gacha games because the Industry is way too lucrative and I don't want to be a victim to that

The most gachas I used to play at the same time was 4 (FGO, GBF, Azur Lane and SIF) Now I've kinda mellowed out with just 3 (FGO, Genshin and HSR)

Games should be fun, not a full time commitment. Is even worse considering even if you spend all your time and money on these games, the service will eventually cease to exist when the cash flow is not good enough to sustain it. Only upside in the gacha game model is the realse of content down the line, but the gameplay often sucks and the stuff you want will always be pay walled (even the free stuff costs you a lot of time which is equal to money).

Thanks for the video! I'm trying to finish my gacha era now. During the coronavirus I founded gacha games in my boredom and I get very addicted unfortunately (I mostly played with Genshin Impact in the past but after I stopped I switched to another gacha, Punishing Gray Raven..) Let's just say I was F2P the all time so my money didn't go into this "hobby" but my time. And by the way, after a while, I realized too, these games are all built on the same strategy, time-wasting P2W trash is all. Even if it’s just about luck or grinding to get something, even if you're not a friend of it, they'll do everything they can to manipulate you either with the story or with the characters (especially the characters) or other features/events sure to get you to spend your time and money on the game. And it may well be some luck you've endured it without paying? Then well done. Because if you keep playing even so, you'll face being compared to others you won't have any advantage/chances, and that's when you'll really realize how screwed up this system acually and you will be greatly disappointed.. Sorry for that little monologue, I can only feel sorry for those who spend their daily lives in these games too, I only woke up to this thing late, but really if anyone still has any hope of stopping in time and not having to go through this path.
